Description
As a Data Scientist you will be the guru that guides the client in how to efficiently create and enhance their data driven systems and solutions. You will discover and prioritize information in vast amounts of data while identifying, interpreting, normalizing, and validating said data.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Researching and creating statistical learning models for data analysis
- Collecting massive sets of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
- Identifying data sources based on the business need of the customer
- Analyzing and identifying data trends/patterns
- Creating and implementing new algorithms
- Interpreting data to discover solutions
- Normalizing and validating data to ensure no data is lost, the data is uniform, and the data is accurate
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas (*NOTE* Applicable experience can/will be considered in place of this requirement):
- Computer Science
- Engineering
- Statistics
- Applied Mathematics
- Demonstrated experience in Data Science
- Demonstrated experience with one or more of the following programming languages:
- SQL
- Java
- Python
- C/C++
- Perl
- R
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to communicate with both technical and non technical personnel both verbally and in written form
- Understanding of Scrum and Agile Frameworks
Education:
Candidate must have one of the following:
- 12 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma
- 10 Years of job related experience and Associate’s degree
- 8 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree
- 6 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree
- 4 Years of job related experience and Doctorate
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Mchine Learning and A.I.
